We have launched a new designed website. The new design will still feature all the same content as the previous site. However it should now be accessible more easily and laid out in a more professional manner. It will also hopefully be more compatible with the different web browsers and display resolutions that people use.
Members should find the Members Log In is still the same as the previous site and should be able to find the same information within it. Results, Handicaps, Competition Start times will still be listed within this section, however it should now display a little bit easier again. Also in the Members section Contact Details for all the Clubs Officers and Officials should display on the Members Home Page should you ever wish to contact them.
Some new features on the site are the Calendar feature. You may have already noticed the little box on the left which displays the present month and any important dates (Matches & Competitions) are highlighted in green. Clicking on these dates will bring up the full details and information for the event and obviously any tee reservations or closures that may apply. Members and Visitors should frequently check this out. Clicking on the 'Calendar' link in the side menu will bring up the Month Calender and you can then tab through the remaining months of the year to see the full fixtures and events list.
On the Contacts Page and the Golf Shop Page anyone wishing to contact us out of trading hours can now complete a form detailing their queries and send to us.
Mailing List - We now offer Members and Visitors the chance to sign-up to an email mailing list to receive any updates or offers from you. Previously we've asked members to provide addresses on renewal forms at Christmas but using this information has then been problematic. Partly due to the computer system we have had in place and partly because alot of the addresses are illegible to read. Hopefully now those Members who would like to receive news updates and offers will sign up to the mailing list.
